Pre-implant assessment, implantation and post-implant programming and
follow up of ICDs, CRTs, CRT-Ds
During the last 3.5 years, I have been involved in the pre-implant assessment,
implantation and follow up of ~ 80 ICDs, 40 CRT devices and 35 CRT-D devices, besides
~ 250 pacemakers. During this period, I have also been involved in the mapping and
ablation of various arrhythmias using conventional as well as 3 dimensional electroanatomical
mapping systems as detailed below:
Total no. of EPS/RFA procedures: ~ 1500
Ablations: AVNRT ~550, AVRTs ~325, Atrial arrhythmias ~125, Ventricular tachycardias~160
Other ablations done: Renal denervation for control of resistant hypertension, radiofrequency
ablation for hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy
